French Wine Description
94pts Robert Parker : This brilliant Pomerol, Clos l’Eglise 2006 made by Dr. Alain Raynaud for proprietress Helene Garcin is beautifully situated not far from l’Eglise Clinet. A star in the making since Madame Garcin took control of the estate in 1997, the 2006 offers beautiful blueberry, raspberry, and cherry notes intermixed with toasty new oak, spring flowers, and spice. Soft tannin, medium to full-bodied, lovely fruit, and fine length suggest this impressive effort should drink deliciously for 15 or more years.
